Fuel Autotek Australia has entered the Philippine automotive aftermarket by establishing Fuel Autotek Philippines, its local subsidiary which also happens to be the official distributor of a range of well-known tire brands in the country, namely MOMO from Italy and Deestone from Thailand.
"We are thrilled to bring to the Philippines an exciting tire brand from MOMO Italy, which after over 50 years of leading the global automotive and motorsports market with high-performance steering wheels, road wheels and racing accessories, has launched MOMO Tires which offers a full range of products for passenger cars, vans and SUVs," said Fuel Autotek Chief Financial Officer Enzo Mastroianni. "We are also bringing in to the market Deestone Tires, which is Thailand’s largest and well-respected local tire manufacturer. We are proud to offer Deestone’s full range of quality tire products which range from truck, bus, agricultural, industrial, passenger car, light trucks and off-road SUV tires."
Fuel Autotek PH will be making its public launch at the upcoming 2017 Manila International Auto Show which will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City where it will display its local lineup of MOMO and Deestone tires.
"Our dealer network has already been set-up prior, through months of preparation, and our main focus right now is to boost visibility of our carried brands within the key cities around the Philippines,” added Fuel Autotek PH Marketing Manager Kevin Buenaseda. "We are enthusiastic and have begun our search for additional highly-qualified dealers who share our vision and values. We want highly-motivated business partners who will passionately pursue and promote our carried brands in to the local market."
According to Fuel Autotek PH, the MOMO line of tires are premium branded tires that are sold at a very competitive value price point while the Deestone tires are competitively-priced tires that cater to a full spectrum of requirements, from passenger cars to agricultural, industrial, and construction hauling applications.
Besides MOMO and Deestone, other brands carried by Fuel Autotek PH are Roadwing truck and bus tires from China which it distributes nationwide, and the Kaizen truck and bus tires from India which is distributed in the Visayas and Mindanao region.
Asked if Fuel Autotek PH will soon distribute other products from the entire MOMO range like alloy wheels, gears, and lifestyle items, Mastroianni told Carmudi Philippines that it does plan to do just that.
"There's a huge market out there and we certainly want to. We'll see," Mastroianni concluded with a smile.
